Spring is here, and that means we’re getting ready for ADA’s annual Tour de Cure. This year my son, Alex, was asked to be a youth ambassador for the Michigan division. This has given him a chance to speak in front of crowds, and share his story in writing. To know Alex is to know that he has lived with Type 1 Diabetes since he was 3 years old. He, and millions of people whose lives are touched by Diabetes, is optimistic that one day there will be a cure for this disease.

There are a limited number of TdC Simple Sessions available. Your session can take place any time until August 1st, but you must schedule your session before May 1st to be able to donate your session proceeds to TdC. Use the contact link above, and I will email you back regarding availability and locations, etc.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who participated in these sessions last year (some favorite pics below), and those who donated without a session… especially Jean Smith, who shot most of the sessions with me, and whose family rode with us in the race.

If you would like to ride with us this year (Please do! It’s such a fun event, and a great family activity… each rider only has to raise a minimum of $200) or just want to donate to Alex’s Team go HERE. THANK YOU in advance! We are riding the 10k in Brighton, and the date is June 15th.
