Remember these pictures from last year in the grove of “magical milkweed”? … I was happy to see they were in full magnificent bloom for the following session with one of my favorite beauties to photograph.

I LOVE the Mom Inc Daily blog… and am happy they did a feature HERE today on my work. I even threw in one of my favorites from several years ago back in Alaska. It’s kind of weird to see mountains in my pictures!
My son is BFFs with Jean and Travis’ son… and by BFFs I mean my son’s birthday request for next year is to not have a birthday party, but to have a “Barrett Party” where the two of them can climb trees (and anything else tall), do acrobatics, jump, run, yell, and eat donuts. When I saw the new cover of Small Magazine I instantly thought of these boys. I made them pose for a few shots (really that’s all I could get because they were kind of bugged that I interrupted their hangout agenda).
Well really what more can I say? If I had an ideal 1-year-old model it would be this little guy. He worked his awesome wardrobe, and was pretty much my best buddy by the time we were through.
