I love 90% of my job as a photographer… the 10% I don’t love? Well let’s just say yesterday I paid my 9-year-old to fold packaging boxes and tidy up my studio, cause someone’s gotta do it… Where was I? Oh ya, the part that I love…

- Families that I ADORE

- Getting excited hugs from little people who remember me (the kids in the post right before this also gave me hugs… and that, my friends, makes me smile even as I type)

- Proving to moms that we got great shots, even if it felt like mayhem during the shoot

- Mayhem shoots, because really we would be bored if our kids always sat still and listened to us… I think (I have no real proof of this)  

She made us laugh when she announced something like “Take a picture of this. It will be great!” Then she laid down in the grass and posed.   

She certainly has picked up more from her mom than just good looks. She was so thoughtful and drew this for me spontaneously a few days before the session. It’s a tornado (: . I think it also looks like the profile of a happy dog.

These beautiful kids in their beautiful Indian outfits turned a lot of heads. It was fun to see you again!

These are going to be made into artwork as a surprise for their dad… shhhhh, don’t tell but there are many more that will surprise mom.

And of course, one to make you laugh. She was so patient considering most younger siblings don’t love the together shots when their older siblings. It can get a little rough…

But it’s always worth the work.

She’s gotta know she’s the cutest thing ever… I love photographing this beautiful girl. She’s so cooperative and pleasant. So we always shoot and shoot until we have a million pictures.

But even perfect models have their limits…
