The other day when I got my order in from the gigantic sale at Matilda Jane Clothing I put them on Aspen instantly. That night we had a little back yard bbq in the fire pit my husband put in a few days before. I sent one of the pics to MJC, and today I got an email saying to check out the blog. Yeah! What a fun surprise! Check out the MJC blog and see my girl rockin’ her outfit while putting marshmallows on a stick for s’mores.
This little doll was very compliant and was all smiles… until the very end, which was nap time. But she still hung in there like a trooper until we had so many shots I had a hard time choosing my favorites.
She really tried hard to keep it together for us, but being a model is hard work. This is actually one of my favorite meltdown pictures. And yes, I take meltdown pictures. As parents we’ll miss those as much as the giggles one day… years from now
.
But can you decide what’s more striking… her pouty lips, her sparkly eyes, or her yummy baby chubs?
If you’ve called recently for a session you know that I’m trying hard to fit everyone in before I go on maternity leave next month. To do this I’m only taking sessions here at my Brighton indoor/outdoor home studio. Some are even mini sessions (minis not available for newborns). Go HERE to contact me for details.
Oh yeah and I almost forgot to mention this! Look for this picture in the June issue of The Livingston Parenting Journal. These expecting (any day now) parents are part of an article, and they submitted this image from OUR SESSION .
